This week on Act Out!, in a special hourlong episode, we not only fill you in on the actions from the streets of D.C. last weekend, we more importantly discuss, analyze and project a path forwards. Local D.C. musician, activist and writer Jason Yawn will join me to talk tactics, what to do now, and the role of artists in the movement.

Additional media platforms
Occupy, and Act Out! should consider the following as ulterior or additional social media platforms: minds.com and vidme.com. Peace, great show as always Eleanor Goldfield.

The questions get right to the point
Act Out provides great coverage of Disrupt J20, more than you would ever see on MSM.
Eleanor's sharp questions reveal the contradictions in the system and it's response to violence. They get right to the heart of the matter. Basically she asks:
Isn't poverty a form of social violence
Isn't homelessness a form of social violence
Also as economist Rob Urie suggests in his counterpunch article "Liberalism as Class Warfare" aren't gender and racial bias in economic outcomes a form of social violence
There are many more.
Of course they are forms of social violence by the system against the people but capitalism can never bring itself to admit to it. The consequences of this position could not be clearer.
