In 1980, Seth Tobocman was one of the founding editors of the political comic book World War 3 Illustrated, which challenged the politics and morals of the Reagan-Bush era. His illustrations have appeared in the New York Times and several magazines. Tobocman is the author and illustrator of five graphic books, including "Understanding the Crash" and "You Don't Have to Fuck People Over to Survive." He has been in groups shows at the New Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Modern Art, where his work is currently on display. In the first weeks of Occupy Wall Street, Tobocman was often in Zucotti Park painting signs. He teaches cartooning and Illustration at School of Visual Arts.
