Lupe Fiasco Still Singing Occupy's Song

Lupe Fiasco Still Singing Occupy's Song
Tue, 5/15/2012

Lupe Fiasco, a longtime supporter of OWS, spoke to Fuse recently about his upcoming album, "Food and Liquor 2," along with his thoughts on the Occupy Movement.

"I always looked at Occupy Wall Street, since the beginning, as being a classroom," he said. "It's incubating the next leader. It's incubating the mind that's going to be that next dude to come out with the charisma and the revolutionary mentality to make this world a better place." The socially conscious rapper has a new album due out soon, and it will likely reflect on many of these issues challenging our world today. Watch the full interview above (the part about OWS starts around 2:08).
