This week, as the nonstop election coverage continues, the biggest player in the game has yet to get any airtime at all. Next up, a special extended interview with lawyer and historian Jeff Clements, whose latest project pushes to fulfill the American Promise, as yet unrealized and currently chained down by a corporatocracy, a.k.a. mirage democracy. The states have the right to determine who can and cannot vote. They always have.
The 15th Amendment prohibits the states and the feds from denying the vote on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
The 19th Amendment probits the states and feds from denying the right to vote on account of gender.
